10184Christmas is a stressful time of year. There is no getting around that. Shopping, partying, decorating, planning, everything about Christmas takes its toll!
But its supposed to be “The most wonderful time of the year”. So why isn’t it?

Maybe this year we all need to slow down. Realize that if everything is not perfect that it is not the end of the world. We need to make a schedule that includes exercise and rest and relaxation and keep that schedule.

Too much stress can raise our heart rates and our cholesterol levels. It can decrease our immunity to colds, flu and even much worse diseases. Too much stress can make us gain weight. Too much stress just makes us miserable! So, why don’t we all strive to make this holiday season ‘The most wonderful time of the year” by letting go of the stress and the needs for a perfect holiday and just enjoy our friends and family and honor ourselves by saying “no” to doing too much and the stress that comes with it.
