Thanksgiving is not a day to be on a diet. No, No, just say No to dieting on Thanksgiving. It sounds good and we know that it is true but we also know that the typical Thanksgiving day dinner has something like 3500 calories, all at one sitting. That is not counting anything you might eat for breakfast or anything you might eat afterword, before bed for example. So on Thanksgiving day you might end up eating 2 to 3 times your usual amount of calories.
But the good news is that one day shouldn’t really hurt you too much. Exercise a bit more this week, maybe catch an exercise class on Thursday morning. Maybe try to limit your consumption of the worst offenders, the desserts and the stuffing. Go back to eating healthy (and less) on Friday. Be Thankful for your Life. Enjoy Thanksgiving!
