10055A new study reported in Lancet Neurology has concluded that people in their late 40’s and early 50’s could reduce their risk of dementia by about 50%, and those with a genetic predisposition to Alzheimer’s disease could see a reduction of of risk of about 60% by incorporating a fitness regimen that includes a physical activity that is enough to cause breathlessness and sweating and lasts 20-30 minutes at least twice per week.
