Easy 3 Day Detox Diet Plan To Start With

Our bodies accumulate toxins from the foods we eat and the environment around us. These toxins cause several side effects such as low energy, frequent colds, and digestive problems. There are several types of 3-day detox. Some are fairly easy to follow and some are much more difficult. Some of the easier detox methods begin with simple changes in diet that introduce more natural foods into your meals. These help the bodies natural detoxification system get rid of chemicals more efficiently. Other types of natural body detox could include juice fasting, a lemon diet, fruit detox, or eating only fresh fruits and vegetables. Fasting detox routines typically last only a few days, while improvements in diet should be continued. The best strategy for detoxification is to eat more raw fruits and vegetables in your normal diet and give your body the fuel it needs to detoxify naturally. Keeping raw foods in your diet and reducing the amount of junk foods you eat is what will help your body to eliminate harmful toxins most effectively.

A simple 3-day detox diet will consist of mostly fresh fruits and vegetables. You will only drink water and fresh fruit juices during this 3-day detox. Plan on drinking at least 8 – 10 glasses of water each day of this detox diet. Use only fresh, preferably organic, fruits and vegetables. Adding some fresh lemon juice to your water is a great way to aid digestion. Follow this natural body detox for 3 days and you should see positive results in how you look and feel.

Day 1

The first day starts the detox process. Start by drinking water the first thing in the morning. Water is all you can drink except for some fresh fruit juice. Be sure juice is fresh and does not have any added sugars. It is better to make your own juices from raw ingredients if possible.

For breakfast have some light wholegrain cereal and fruit.

Lunch can be fresh vegetables and fresh grilled fish. Vegetables should be raw or steamed.

Dinner can be the same as lunch. Be creative with salads and try new combinations of greens and fruit.

Take a 30 minute walk or some other light exercise each day.

Finish the day with a nightcap of herbal tea.

Day 2

The second day continues the process you started. Continue drinking a lot of water. No coffee, tea, or colas should be consumed at all.

Breakfast will be only fresh fruit. Drink only water and add a little lemon. Enjoy as much fruit as you need to feel full .

Continue with 30 minutes of light exercise and herbal tea before sleeping.

Day 3

Finally, the last day. You may feel a little hungry on this day and that is normal. Stay focused and get though this last day. Most of your diet on this day will consist of fruit and water.

Breakfast will be the same as day 2, fruit and water. Eat as much as you want .

Lunch on day 3 should be the same, fruit and water.

Dinner will be vegetables, fresh and/or steamed.

Finish with light exercise and herbal tea.

At the end of this natural body detox you should be able to tell a difference in how you look and feel. Continue what you have begun by making good food choices for your future meals. Continue looking for fresh, organically grown fruits and vegetables and make them a part of your everyday meal plan.
