Sometimes we need a nudge to change career. We can get secure in our safety zone and not move until pushed. That’s what happened to me. For many years I was in a commercial environment, and had just started thinking of slowing down or going part time. I didn’t do anything particular with that thought but it was still there, lurking in the background! Then I was made redundant and that was the push I needed. I took a foundation course in systematic kinesiology, loved it but still kept my toe in the waters of HR, however after the practitioner course and teacher training course I am now a fully fledged Kinesiologist who also does a variety of other holistic health massage treatments and I love it.
So, if you are interested in alternative health practices or complementary medicine then you too could train in kinesiology. You can learn kinesiology through classes run around the country – I teach kinesiology training courses and workshops in Sussex and can run them throughout all of the surrounding area. Each class is highly interactive – 90% is practical with workshop content and you learn so much about the body in its totality – kinesiology is truly holistic.
How is that – what is kinesiology – well kinesiology uses muscle response to gauge imbalance in the body. We can determine imbalance on the following factors:
• chemical
• structural
• nutritional
• physical
• emotional
• electrical
• electro-magnetic
and this makes kinesiology a truly holistic treatment. No other therapy can test and treat the whole body systems at once.
If you are a reflexologist, you can combine kinesiology with your current practice and have a unique selling points for your clients. You can still treat the body through the highly effective reflexology points AND you have a diagnostic for emotional factors and nutritional imbalance.
If you are a nutritionist, you can still use your skill and judgement in treating clients AND have a unique selling point of being able to TEST for nutritional imbalance AND treat underlying emotional, physical and electrical imbalance
If you are a homeopath, you can still use your remedies and consultation approach AND incorporate kinesiology treatments within the treatment.
And the list is endless according to the natural therapy employed.
Kinesiology is also a wonderful technique to learn if you have NO EXPERIENCE WHATSOEVER. If you are interested in natural complementary healthcare and want to help yourself be better and also help friends and family, then you can learn kinesiology or attend a workshop – it is suitable for everyone.
Kinesiology can treat any number of complaints – headaches, bloating, digestion problems, skin problems, depression, stress, anxiety, phobias, food sensitivity, bowel problems, breathing difficulties, stomach cramps, menstrual problems etc. etc…
If you want to attend a kinesiology training course which is accredited by ASK (Association of Systematic Kinesiology) then you will have learned techniques which may change your life and that of others – for the better.
