Hiring a Trainer

What is the benefit of hiring a trainer? Some of the trainers I know seem to work their clients really hard while others work hard for about 45 minutes and then tell their clients to go do cardio.

If I pay for an hour, I want an hour, not 45 minutes. Even if he does get results.

Sometimes even if they are working it seems to be a gabfest with a trainer. I know I have a tendency to get talking too much and not working out if there is an opportunity.

But I would like someone to just take over, design the perfect workout for me, just so I don’t have to think about that anymore. I’ll do the work. I just don’t want to figure out what the “work” should be. Just let me do it and not think about it!
