Awesome Abs
Check out the infomercials on TV this weekend and you will see a dozen or so pieces of equipment, DVD’s, diet plans, funky belts that you wear, balls, slides, gadgets, contraptions, you name it, all devoted to one body part-ABS.
Apparently the whole world wants sleek, firm, sculpted,6 pack abs-Awesome Abs. No other body part gets so much of our attention. No other body part is so admired when it is scupted into a “6-pack”. But if it were easy, everyone would have perfect Awesome Abs.
I read today that “Abs are created in the kitchen, not in the gym”. There is a lot of truth to that statement. It doesn’t matter how hard you work your abs in the gym if you have a thick layer of fat no one will see the muscles. Diet is as important a component to ab development as any exercise. You need to have a sound nutrition plan to uncover those Awesome Abs.
There is also a genetic component to abs. Not every body has the capability of having a perfectly, sculpted six-pack. But don’t let that discourage you. Not everyone has long legs either! Get a good nutrition program and a good workout plan with a strong ab work component and you can still get a great set of abs. You will just become the best you can be -the best Awesome Abs for you - and that is really all you can ask!
